Ten brazilian airports have benefited by government program

Have been increased by 13 million people a yearly capacity of Brazilian airports due to work on the second phase of the Program Accelerating Growth, which has already completed 16 works in ten airports, and 22 other works are in progress.

The Investment Plan Program Federal Aid to Airports (Profaa) should also invest about $ 308 million in airport infrastructure of state and regional interest in its modernization, renovation and expansion.

The Department of Civil Aviation (SAC) provides that the covenants in conjunction with state governments must be signed by the end of the year.

Among the works is the renovation and construction of runways, improvements in passenger terminals, expansion of courtyards and revitalization of signs and pavement in 22 airfields of 13 states.

There is also the prediction of the purchase of 48 cars fire, which by the end of next year, 2013, should be designed to airports in 15 states, allowing operation of larger aircraft to meet demand growth.

Will be invested R$ 78 million in this action, of which R$ 72 million paid by Union and the rest by the states.
