Fernando de Noronha airport will be modernized

The airport of Fernando de Noronha will receive an investment of R$ 3.3 million for its modernization, which should include a system of x-ray and metal detector portal for the luggage. During a post will also be deployed aircraft fueling and is planned to build a hangar of nine thousand m².

The check-in and check-out will also be modernized for the service to be more agile, from 35 to 15 minutes. The airport has gained new signaling to facilitate orientation of the passengers.

The loading and unloading areas received new partitions and baggage carousels, respectively, as well as the lighting system was improved also as the air-conditioned of waiting hall, in addition to receiving new chairs.
On the outside, the building of the airport received a new painting and plate light, and has expanded the capacity of the parking lot.

The works in Noronha Airport were made ​​by Dix Empreendimentos, which manages the airport of Bonito in Mato Grosso do Sul, which received R$ 2.5 million in funds to have built the passenger terminal, among other works, making the airport was authorized by regulators to receive regular flights of large aircraft.
