Statement released by the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero) reports that, of 11,196 scheduled flights in the period from Thursday (5) until Sunday (8), Holy Week and Easter, 828 were canceled, percentage of 7.40 %. The company also recorded in 1261 delayed flights, which means 11.26% of delays.
The rate of canceled flights, compared to the same period last year, fell from 11.15% to 7.40%. However, the number of delays rose from 8.93% to 11.26% in the 66 airports managed by Infraero. The company said the move this Easter weekend was quiet.
Airport officials have used yellow vests with the campaign “May I help?” by lobbies, advising and answering questions from travelers. In this service, Infraero prepared aPassenger Guide, containing information about the rights and duties of users of theaviation system, including tips ranging from travel purchases to landing.
