Aircraft will have 1,153 spaces during the Confederations Cup

According to information released by the Department of Aviation said Thursday (18), 1,153 vacancies are reserved for parking of aircraft, in a network involving 33 airports and eight air bases in the country, who will receive delegations and spectators who will compete and watch the World Cup Confederations Cup in June.

According to Moreira Franco, the vacancies are much higher than the number of aircraft expected to games. The positions are part of the plan for the aviation industry, so it can withstand the high demand period.

The plan also includes 1,723 civil servants working on servers in airports.

The Confederations Cup involves six cities directly, such as Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Salvador, Fortaleza and Recife, though airports in nearby cities, like Anapolis and Goiania, and Guarulhos, for being the largest in the country and it gets more International flights, will also receive the benefits from the measures.
