Infraero is fined by irregular work on Amazonia airport

Due to irregular work and lack of documentation required by the Institute of Social Order and Urban Planning (Implurb), and due to the irregularities found in the reform of Eduardo Gomes International Airport, in Manaus, Infraero received two notices and was fined more than U.S. $ 5,000.00.

Infraero had already been notified for the first time to rectify the situation found by the inspection on January 17 due to gutters, puddles of water and bags hanging from the roof of the airport lounge.

In response, Infraero issued a statement saying that the works are accompanied by ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), and is already being done a work of waterproofing the roof of the airport, to avoid leaks. These works were scheduled to end on 03 February.

Also according to Infraero in less than 15 days, whole situation notified must be resolved.
